DOM Wizard began and remains a javascript
program. It's been reincarnated a few times and began in 1996 as a
tag based HTML source editor, loosely modelled on the then popular
Hotdog HTML Editor. It operated in the browser.
In 1999/2000 WYSIWYG was introduced and soon after
the program was distributed in the .hta application container in use
today.
in 2004 the CSS/DOM control was introduced and the
program GUI updated most recently mid 2010. |
